Produce
The following products are all
grown, smoked and packaged by us for your convenience:
Whole "Mountain Ash" smoked trout - delicious, plate size, rainbow trout, hot smoked for 6 hours with mountain ash sawdust to produce a firm, moist, smoky flavoured flesh.
Smoked Flavoured Fillets – 5 seasoned fillets to choose from, a perfect accompaniment with local cheese and a glass of chardonnay.
Angler's Retreat Smoked Trout Pâté - Our famous pâté is a mouth-watering delight produced from our smoked trout flesh combined with other natural ingredients -aahhhh!
Wilhelmina Falls Smoked Salmon - direct from our sister farm in Murrindindi, this is a lovely moist side of cold smoked salmon - excellent for any occassion.
BBQ Trout Sizzle - a natural home-made dressing to accompany your fresh trout on the barbecue.
Other regional produce
- Cheese - Mild, Mature and Vintage
Cheddar Cheese produced at Yea, about 40 minutes drive from Eildon.
- Olives - Eildon Hills Olive farm produce extra Virgin Olive Oil and Kalamata Olives.
- Snob's Creek Winery - Just across the river from our farm, this winery do a fine selection of chardonnay, rosé, shiraz and red blends.
- Rees Miller - On the outskirts of Yea, this winemaker produces a fabulous Eildon Shiraz.
- Little River Estate: Situated at Neighbouring town Taggerty, they produce a fine drop of wine. Heathcote Shiraz a specialty.
- Kinloch Wines - Near Jamieson on the other side of Lake Eildon, the chardonnay is very popular with our regular visitors.
- Domaine Chandon - TBA
- Cheviot Bridge - We stock the Chardonnay, Shiraz and Pinot Noir from this Yea winemaker.
- Jamieson Brewery Beer - The Jamieson Brewery does a unique Raspberry Ale, Brown Ale, Pale Ale and the powerful Beast Indian Pale Ale.
- Yarra Valley Beer - TBA
- Jameison Berries - Various preserves including delicious Jams, toppings and relish.
- Cathedral Valley Honey - cathedral valley bees make their honey from local native trees, in many different flavours.
